ABOUT THE BOOK
In December of 2007, Robin felt God's call to read the Bible with her family. As a result, Robin and her husband decided that they would read through the entire Bible together.... each year... with their children. And so they started that journey on January 1, 2008, and just recently completed their tenth trip through the Bible together as a family.
Putting that decision into practice has had a significant impact on Robin, her husband, and their children, Nathan III and Abigail. "Read the Bible with Me" is a guide to help others who are interested in the Bible to follow the same practice that the Ridgeways have experienced.
"In Read the Bible with Me," Robin discusses an excerpt from each day's portion of Scripture reading, and shares some of her very own personal experiences and reflections inspired by that day's reading. Designed to make Bible reading an exciting and consistent part of your daily life, "Read the Bible with Me" will successfully lead you through both the Old and New Testaments in the course of a year.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
For 20 years Robin Ridgeway served as co-Worship Pastor alongside her husband Nate in Atlanta; for 10 of those years she was also the Administrator of Education at a private academy.
As her children entered into their elementary years, Robin gave up her title of “administrator” in exchange for “homeschooling Mom.” It was during this transition that God called her to begin reading the Bible with her family daily.
The Ridgeways have read the Bible cover to cover together every year since, and have experienced radical transformation both spiritually as well as relationally. Robin now invites you to join her family on their Bible reading adventure.
